Lion Craft

Upholstery is where design meets comfort — and in hospitality, comfort is what keeps guests in their seats and coming back. The right banquette, booth, or lounge chair shapes how a space feels and how long people want to stay. Lion Craft’s in-house upholstery shop builds commercial-grade seating from the frame up, engineered to look refined and survive years of daily turnover.

What We Upholster

  • Banquettes & booths — straight runs, curved and circular booths, and tufted or channel-back designs built on our own millwork frames.
  • Dining & lounge seating — chairs, barstools, settees, and lounge furniture, custom-built or expertly reupholstered.
  • Headboards & wall panels — upholstered walls and headboards for hotels that add softness and absorb sound.
  • Cushions & details — seat and back cushions, bolsters, welting, and custom trim.

Built for Commercial Use

Hospitality seating fails when it’s built like residential furniture. We construct on hardwood and engineered frames, use high-resilience commercial foam rated to hold its shape under constant use, and finish with contract-grade textiles — vinyls, performance fabrics, and leathers chosen for high double-rub abrasion ratings, cleanability, and resistance to stains and moisture. Where code applies, we specify materials that meet flammability standards (such as Cal TB 117) so your seating is safe as well as comfortable.

Craft & Coordination

Clean upholstery is in the details — tight, even tufting, straight seams, crisp welting, and pattern alignment that stays consistent across a long banquette run. Because our upholstery shop works alongside our millwork division, the frame and the cushion are designed together: seat heights and depths are dialed in for real comfort, and the upholstered seat lands flush against the wood base with no gaps. Need to refresh an existing space? Reupholstering proven frames in new fabric is a fast, cost-effective way to update a look without a full rebuild.
